ESPN isn't allowed to show World Cup matches on ESPN Deportes because Univision has the exclusive Spanish-language rights in the United States. So the sports giant, which has the English rights, will augment its coverage next summer from South Africa by offering matches on Deportes in Portuguese. Clever, very clever.
