Stu Holden Starts
Staying on the field for the full match, he played ok in Bolton's 1-0 win. His most telling contributions came on consistently decent set pieces (including serving the corner that eventually resulted in the goal and the free kick which evaded everyone but may have been heading toward the upper 90 before Hahnemann clawed to safety). He missed a couple of promising chances, one in each half. In the first half, he tried to replicate his great goal against Haiti, but the shot went high and wide. In the second half, Lee set him up just outside the area, but a poor first touch forced Holden to take a shot while off balance, going weakly straight at Hahnemann.
